                  rich man poor man cast

"Rich Man, Unfortunate Man"
(2000) is a retelling of the exemplary 1976 TV smaller-than-usual series, initially founded on the novel by Irwin Shaw. The 2000 variant brought the sensational story of two siblings exploring their differentiating destinies — one chasing after riches and achievement, the other wrestling with the difficulties of neediness and misfortune — back into the spotlight. The new cast reinvigorated the perplexing characters, leaving crowds spellbound.

James Franco as Rudy Jordache, straight from his ascent to distinction in the last part of the 1990s, assumed the job of the aggressive sibling who battles his direction to the top. His nuanced depiction of Rudy was catching the two his assurance and the inner turmoil as he sought after abundance, achievement, and power.

Adrian Pasdar as Tom Jordache, Rudy's insubordinate and pained sibling, wonderfully conveyed Tom's battles with his inward devils and outside difficulties. Jennifer Connelly as Julie Prescott, the old flame whose convoluted associations with both Jordache siblings added profound profundity to the storyline. Robert Loggia as Axel Jordache, the brutal and unforgiving dad of Rudy and Tom, impeccably fit the job of a man whose severe childhood molded his children's separating ways.

Jennifer Collect as Virginia Calderwood, a crucial person who encounters Rudy as he climbs the positions of high society, carried a reviving energy to the job.

Joe Pantoliano as Willie Abbott, known for his dynamic jobs in both film and TV, played Willie Abbott, a supporting person who added layers of intricacy to the story. Pantoliano's presentation, as usual, was rich with character and gravitas, adding further interest to the series' pressure filled minutes. Julie Benz as Ramona, Tom Jordache's heartfelt interest, carried warmth and desire to his generally grieved life.

The 2000 variation of "Rich Man, Unfortunate Man" remained consistent with the first series' subjects of desire, family difficulty, and individual reclamation, yet with a new cast and present day creation values, it spoke to another age of watchers. Yet again the capable cast, drove by James Franco and Adrian Pasdar, made an enduring imprint on the story, demonstrating that the topics of "Rich Man, Unfortunate Man" are as important today as they were many years prior.
